I did something slightly unusual today.
I cried.
Only for a little while…but I cried.
I cried just after we spoke outside the control room.
I cried when General Hammond told us he was going back to Edora.
I cried just before I went to the gate room.
I cried in my lab after he left.
I cried when I realised he was actually gone for good.
And then I cried when he came back.
Yep…Major Sam Carter, USAF, she cried.
That's quite an achievement for him to have made; to have made me cry.
I hope he remembers that.
